The following online resources are meant to help guide families, friends, and healthcare professionals in learning more about the alternative therapies that may assist those with all forms of traumatic or acquired brain injury (TBI, ABI).
Our definition of TBI/ABI includes those who have suffered a brain injury or neurological complications due to stroke or ischemic events such as drowning, electrocution, drug overdose, and heart attacks that starve the brain of oxygen.
With alternative therapies, as with mainstream approaches, there is always an element of chance, luck, and randomness. What works brilliantly for one survivor, may not work for another, and we may never know why. All one can do is try one’s best, and hope for improvement.
