Dr. Swatzyna’s organization specializes in neurology EEG interpretations, qEEG reports, and neurofeedback protocols for over 20 centers nationwide. Additionally, Dr. Swatzyna serves as the chief consultant for two centers focusing on neurofeedback for personal injury cases related to traumatic brain injury (TBI) and military and veteran Tier 1 operators.

About our presenter
Dr. Ronald J. Swatzyna holds a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington. He is the Director and Chief Scientist of Neurophysiology Research at the Houston Neuroscience Brain Center and the Founder of Clinical NeuroAnalytics, LLC. A licensed clinical social worker, he is board-certified in neurofeedback and biofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) and is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist Trainer with the Brain Injury Association of America.
With over 27 years of experience, Dr. Swatzyna specializes in brain injury diagnosis and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He began collecting electroencephalographic (EEG) and quantitative EEG (qEEG) data two decades ago to aid psychiatrists in identifying neurological factors related to psychiatric symptoms, particularly those stemming from brain injuries. A distinguished neuroscientist, he has authored or presented over 100 peer-reviewed papers on brain injury, dysfunction, and the effects of psychotropic medications at national and international conferences. His company processes EEG data for over 20 centers across the U.S., enhancing the understanding of brain injuries. In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Swatzyna chairs the Sigma Xi Institutional Review Board and serves on the board of the Rice University/Texas Medical Center Chapter.
A retired professional firefighter-EMT-I and a veteran of both the Vietnam and Gulf Wars, his personal experiences with traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder fuel his commitment to advancing neuroscience and improving the understanding of brain dysfunction.
