Help the BART Foundation Make a Difference: Your Contribution Matters

March is Brain Injury Awareness month. The BART Foundation is fundraising in memory of Bart Goldstein. Bart would have turned 40 this month, and throughout his life, he was a strong and passionate advocate for giving the TBI/ABI community better knowledge and access to life-saving treatments. As a non-profit foundation, our goal has always been to thoroughly investigate the efficacy of alternative therapies by reading research studies taking place around the world, talking with experienced heath care practitioners about their experiences and expertise, and connecting with individuals and their families as they navigate the difficult terrain of healing.

Bart-and-dog

The BART Foundation operates as a “lean, mean, TBI-healing machine” of volunteers and advisors who generously donate their time and expertise. Still, every year, we incur expenses necessary to keep our programming and advocacy work available at NO COST to the TBI/ABI community and general public.

What are our expenses?

  • Hosting and development costs for the BART Foundation website
  • Subscriptions to relevant medical journals and online medical research databases
  • A professional ZOOM account for our Alternative Therapies for Brain Injury Survivors Series and HBOT for Veterans lobbying efforts in New York State
  • Professional writing, editing, videography, and social media services
  • Advertising our research findings and ZOOM events through Facebook, Instagram, and Google

Our total fundraising goal is $1,900. If you’re wondering why we selected this dollar amount, the answer is simple: March 19th is the date our Bart came into this world. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect number.

Remember, no contribution is too small, and every bit helps. Donating is simple and just a click away through our PayPal account or our Facebook fundraiser. If you would like to send a check, our address is: The BART Foundation, Inc., PO Box 13, Glenmont, NY 12077.

We understand that not everyone can contribute financially. However, you can still play an instrumental role in our mission by spreading the word about our work among your friends, family, and social networks. As always, thank you for your support.

Happy heavenly birthday, Bart. We’ll keep on working until every person can get the care they need and deserve. You are forever loved and greatly missed.

Your sister and brother in brain injury,

Dayle and Joel
