BART Foundation has Good news for brain injury survivors!

Barlean’s Oils, a source of premium quality essential oils, has generously agreed to make its oils available at a steep discount to ABI survivors who find themselves on a tight budget. Details of this unique charitable program, including how one qualifies for the discount, are available from Barlean’s at 1-800-445-FLAX. Be sure to mention “The BART Foundation’s Discount” when you speak with a customer service representative.

Working to bring this sort of discount program to life is part of the BART Foundation’s core mission. Barlean’s generosity and benevolence pays for the discount, for which we honor and salute them. Our foundation has no financial interest in and receives no compensation from Barlean’s.

As an educational organization, BART Foundation does not sell anything, or endorse specific companies, but rather educates the brain injury community about safe alternative therapies. Omega-3 oils are one of the alternatives which we consider safe and relatively effective in helping the brain heal. This discount program will put these healing oils in the hands of those who need them but could not otherwise afford them.

About the BART Foundation: Formed in 2016, our mission is to promote better outcomes for brain injury survivors by answering three questions – which alternative therapies are likely to work, where can they be found, and how can they be afforded? Efforts to further our mission thus far include the following:

1- We have identified five safe and relatively effective alternative therapies:

Craniosachral therapy (CST)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Neurofeedback (NF)
Omega-3 Fish Oils
Photobiomodulation (light therapy)

2- Responding to the need for a straightforward way to locate qualified practitioners of alternative therapies in local communities, the BART foundation has consulted thought leaders in each field to put together the most comprehensive, robust and useful resource of its kind. https://www.thebartfoundation.org/resources/

3- The Barleans scholarship program is first of its kind. BART continues to explore creative ways of making other alternative therapies more accessible and affordable. Stay tuned.
